Join Red Carpet Guests, Collins College and IFP/PHX at the 2nd Annual F.U.S.E Film Festival

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) October 4, 2007 -- Collins College (www.collinscollege.edu), along with the Film and Video Production Training Program, will be co-sponsoring the second annual Film Uniting Students and Experts (F.U.S.E.) Film Festival in October with the IFP/PHX Independent Feature Project.

The F.U.S.E. Film Festival is open to students and professionals who would like to enter a short 4 to 10 minute film or a 10 to 60 second special effects clip. Entries can be in VHS or DVD format and should fall into one of the following categories: comedy, romance, horror, animation and documentary.

The film and video event (www.collinscollege.edu/news-events.asp) will be held at the 14th Street Studio, a 150-seat film and video facility, during its grand opening on Oct. 20, 2007. The festival is open to the public and those attending will have a no-charge admission. The selected films will be shown at 11:00 AM and will run the entire day, with the winners being announced at 3:00 PM. Other film and video events that will be taking place are presentations by well-known Hollywood film makers, the SCI-FI and Horror Film Fest Street Team, a film industry mixer and much more.

The Film & Video Production training program at Collins College is designed to prepare students for a career in the exciting world of film and video. With faculty comprising of industry professionals, students receive hands-on training that allows them to fully experience the tasks required by the business.
